How to Style a Midi Skirt Three Ways

The weather is finally turning warmer here in the Midwest and while the majority of us are still under stay-at-home orders, I've found a lot of comfort in getting dressed and following as much of a normal routine as I can. That means waking up at a reasonable hour, making some coffee and putting on a cute outfit.

I've been loving midi skirts for this warmer weather but I know they can sometimes be hard to style. While I'm a pretty average height at 5'6", I know some more petite ladies can especially have trouble wearing midi skirts. It's definitely important to find a skirt that hits just a few inches below your knees (or have a tailor hem it if it's too long!), but it's also important to style it with the right top and accessories. Rather than show you multiple outfits with different skirts, I put together three ways to style one midi skirt, below.

Keep it Casual with a Graphic Tee

Keep it cute and casual by pairing a fun midi skirt with a graphic tee and sneakers! Wear the tee shirt knotted over the skirt or tuck it into the waistband and blouse it out.

Dress it Up with a Blouse and Heels

When we can all go back to the office, this outfit is an easy, comfortable way to get a little dressed up. Pair the midi skirt with a ruffled blouse, cute belt and strappy heels for a professional look.

Add Some Bling for a Night Out

When we're able to resume going out, throw on some metallic accessories and a lace cami with a midi skirt. Fully embrace the animal trend with faux croc print boots and you're good to go!
